Is this course right for my child's communication level?

Yes. The SIGNAL™ Framework is designed for children who are non-speaking or minimally speaking — from presymbolic communication (body, gaze, movement) through early AAC use. The Communication Level Scale in Module 6 helps you locate your child precisely and tells you exactly what to model next. You are not behind if you are here.

Will this interfere with my child's existing therapy?

Not at all — this course complements and does not replace professional therapy. In fact, most parents find it gives them the clinical language to partner more effectively with their child's existing SLP, BCBA, or school team. Will AAC suppress my child's speech? I've heard this concern.
